Required documents when requesting consular legalization at the Korean Embassy

For criminal records issued by Vietnamese agencies, it is necessary to request certification from the Consular Department – Ministry of Foreign Affairs for both the original and the translation

In case of submitting on behalf of 3 or more people, use “Attached documents of the notarization application”

  2. Power of attorney (form of the Korean Embassy) (in case of submission on behalf of another person)

Note: a power of attorney must not be written in capital letters

In case of submitting documents for family members, it is not necessary to submit a power of attorney but must bring copies of documents proving the relationship

In case the document owner is a legal entity (enterprise), state agency (school, hospital, etc.) (not an individual), the following additional documents must be submitted:

– 1 copy of business registration certificate/establishment decision notarized in Korean or English

In this case, it is required to stamp the company/agency on the power of attorney and the notarization request. If the company representative signs the authorization letter, a photocopy of the company representative’s passport/identification document must be submitted.
